MR CDL Testing is authorized by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) as a certified third party tester to administer CDL driving skills tests. We are a customer oriented CDL Third Party Tester located right here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We administer the skills portion of your CDL licensing process.
MR CDL Testing offers testing for Class A, Class B, Class C, Coach Bus, School Bus, and other Passenger vehicles as well as tests for removal of restrictions. Equipment rental is also available for most tests.
Whether administering a Class A, B, C, Passenger, School Bus, and/or Coach Bus exam, we provide a relaxed, friendly, and safe atmosphere to assist you with performing to best of your ability. At MR CDL Testing, we do not pass or fail you on your exam. Only you can do that!

Class A
For operation of a commercial motor vehicle. Any combination of vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), actual weight, or registered weight over 26,000 pounds provided the GVWR, actual weight, or registered weight of the towed vehicle(s) is more than 10,000 pounds.
Class B
For operation of a commercial motor vehicle. Any single vehicle with a GVWR, actual weight, or registered weight over 26,000 pounds, or such vehicle towing a vehicle with a GVWR, actual weight, or registered weight of 10,000 pounds or less.
Class C
For operation of a commercial motor vehicle. Any single vehicle with a GVWR, actual weight, or registered weight of 26,000 pounds or less, (or such vehicle towing a vehicle less than 10,000 pounds) transporting hazardous materials requiring placarding or designed to carry 16 or more persons including the driver.
Passenger
Vehicles designed to carry, or actually carrying, 16 or more passengers, including the driver. The passenger "P" endorsement requires a driving skills test when originally issued. The Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of the vehicle determines the Commercial Motor Vehicle Class.
Coach Bus
All coach buses, including private and tour buses. The passenger "P" endorsement requires a knowledge and driving skills test when originally issued and upon every renewal. The Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of the vehicle determines the Commercial Motor Vehicle Class.
Restrictions
A CDL driver/applicant may have a CDL restriction(s) placed on their CDL. A driver with a restriction appearing on their CDL must comply with the restriction while operating a CMV requiring a CDL. MR CDL Testing administers tests that lift the following restrictions: Air Brakes, Manual Transmission, and Tractor/Trailer.
